Day 12 - WEDNESDAY - 9 stone 9 lbs

Stuck yet again on the same weight and aware by looking at the diet that I was not drinking enough water.

BREAKFAST (8am)
Cup of tea

ELEVENSES (10am)
Cup of lemon tea
2 Wholemeal crackers

DINNER (2pm)
Bowl spicy butternut squash soup
(about three quarters of a tin - Heinz)
2 Wholemeal crackers
Cup of tea
1 banana

TEA (5.30pm)
1 glass of water
Rest of the soup
8 poppy and sesame seed crackers
(six with Primula shrimp/cheese spread)
half an ounce medium cheddar
2 pieces beetroot (boiled not pickled)
1 apple

LATE NIGHT SNACK (10.15pm)
3 poppy and sesame seed crackers
1 ounce cheese
Cup of lemon tea
1 Wholemeal cracker
1 glass of water

On re-reading this diet 10 years after I wrote it down, one thing seems to becoming clearer - water appears to help you lose weight. When I forget to drink water, the weight loss levels out. I am definitely going to drink more this time around. (Water, not hot punch!). Another thing that strikes me is the late night snacking. I'm sure this can't be good for the metabolism. I will try and cut down those late night binges and eat more at tea time instead. Plus, there is no way I could drink fluid so late at night any more. I'd never get any sleep.
