Day 14 - FRIDAY - 9 stone 7 lbs

At last the weight is dropping off. Got to be worth carrying on with this diet. 

BREAKFAST
Cup of tea

ELEVENSES (you probably know by now that elevenses happen at 10am in my world)
Cup of lemon tea
2 wholemeal crackers

IT SEEMS I FORGOT TO HAVE LUNCH TODAY

TUNCH (tea/lunch 4pm)
1 wholemeal cracker
Cup of tea
1 glass of water
7 sesame and poppy seed biscuits
Primula shrimp spread

TEA (6.30pm)
1 boiled egg
4 cherry tomatoes
1 apple
1 glass of water
2 wholemeal crackers

LATE NIGHT DRINK (10pm)
Cappuccino

Looking back to 2005, I've no idea how I managed to cope with those late night drinks. I'm following this diet again now (May 2015) - not to the letter because I've added in loads of salad leaves, rocket, more beetroot, raw carrot and celery (food that basically doesn't have too many calories). I'm also drinking more water and cutting out fluids after 8pm. 
Everything is going really well and I hit 9 stone yesterday (a loss of 12 lbs in around 3 or 4 weeks, so I'm doing better this time around). 
Here's another tip on how to succeed: the last thing you want to do when you're determined to lose weight is celebrate a birthday, meet up with friends for lunch, go to a party, buffet, champagne business launch or evening meal. Because of this, you must choose your month to diet carefully and be prepared to fend off invitations. The occasional treat can be fitted in as long as it's in moderation, but look for a month that is not a busy one in your social calendar.
