Now that wasn't expected, my exclamation in the margin proves it and I wrote: Disappointing - I am now gaining weight. After trying so hard, this sort of reward puts you right off. However, I persevered and the final result was worth it, but I can understand why people give up on diets.

When I look back over the diet, I did start to eat more as time progressed and occasionally wrote: FULL UP. So maybe the trick would have been not to fill myself up! Everyone feels hungry at some point in the day, no matter what size they are. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with feeling hungry. When man was a hunter, I bet there were many days when the family felt hungry. What does hunger mean to you? Does it bother you? Does that rumbly tummy make you want to eat until you are full?
